Shortly, a\nnew PolECulE publication will be released. Its German title \u201cPolitik und\nWirtschaft bilingual unterrichten\u201d roughly translates as \u201cBilingual Social\nScience Education.\u201d The compact volume offers a curricular framework as well as\nan overview of teaching methods and an exemplary trade unions simulation in\nwhich students simulate the collective bargaining process between a steel mill\nand its employees. While the publication is mainly written in German, the\nsimulation including materials and tasks is mostly held in English, so that it\nmay well be adapted for use in other languages.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
